Description
- DEEP-PENETRATING CONCRETE SEALER – RadonSeal Plus penetrates deep into concrete and reacts within the pore structure to seal capillaries, helping reduce water intrusion and moisture vapor transmission through basement floors and foundation walls.
- FOR BASEMENTS & FOUNDATIONS – Helps reduce moisture seepage through concrete floors and walls by penetrating and reacting within the concrete. Ideal for basement floors, foundation walls, slabs, and concrete block exposed to ground moisture.
- LONG-LASTING INTERNAL SEAL – Unlike acrylic or epoxy coatings that sit on the surface, RadonSeal reacts inside the concrete to form a durable internal seal that will not peel, blister, or wear away over time.
- STRENGTHENS & HARDENS CONCRETE – Chemically densifies and reinforces porous or weak concrete, reducing dusting and improving resistance to water intrusion, salts, and freeze-thaw cycles.
- EASY DIY APPLICATION – Apply with a sprayer, roller, or brush. The water-based formula penetrates deeply into the concrete where it reacts and cures internally, no surface coating or film.
- PAINTABLE & COATING-COMPATIBLE – Prepares concrete surfaces for coatings by helping reduce moisture movement through the substrate. Compatible with concrete paints, epoxy coatings, clear sealers, overlays, and adhesives.
- IDEAL FOR BASEMENTS & FOUNDATIONS – Suitable for basement floors, foundation walls, concrete slabs, garages, and warehouses. Works on poured concrete and concrete block (CMU) foundations.

Choose the Right RadonSeal for Your Concrete
RadonSeal Standard
Best for newer poured concrete, including indoor surfaces under 20 years old and outdoor surfaces under 2 years old.
Note: RadonSeal Standard may also be used on older concrete.
RadonSeal PLUS
Best for concrete block and older, more porous poured concrete, including indoor surfaces over 20 years old and outdoor surfaces over 2 years old.
Note: RadonSeal Plus is a more highly concentrated formulation designed for more porous substrates, and can also be used on newer concrete.
Protects Against Common Concrete Issues
Moisture
Concrete absorbs moisture from below, which coatings can trap. RadonSeal helps reduce moisture movement, creating improved conditions for finishes.
Efflorescence
Reducing moisture movement helps minimize efflorescence, which can damage paints, epoxy, and surface coatings.
Cracking
RadonSeal improves concrete surface strength, helping reduce cracking and surface deterioration.
Dusting
RadonSeal helps harden and bond the concrete surface, reducing dusting and fine surface residue.
-
How is RadonSeal different from coatings or sealers?
Unlike traditional coatings that sit on the surface and can peel or trap moisture, RadonSeal absrobs deep into the concrete and works below the surface. It does not form a film, allowing the concrete to remain breathable.
-
Can I apply paint, epoxy, or coatings over RadonSeal?
Yes. When applied to a bare, porous surface, it absorbs into the concrete rather than forming a surface layer, allowing proper adhesion of paints, epoxy, levelers, and coatings.
-
What is the coverage rate?
• Poured Concrete: 175–225 sq. ft. per gallon
• Concrete Block: 100–125 sq. ft. per gallon
As a general guideline, a 1,000 sq. ft. poured concrete surface requires approximately 5 gallons. A 2.5-gallon container will cover about 500 sq. ft.
-
Will RadonSeal stop water leaks through cracks?
RadonSeal is not designed to stop active leaks through cracks, joints, or seams. These areas should be repaired using appropriate products such as CrackWeld Floor Crack Repair Kit or RadonSeal DIY Foundation Crack Repair Kit.
-
Can RadonSeal be applied to painted or sealed surfaces?
No. RadonSeal must be absorbed through the surface to be effective. It should only be applied to clean, bare, and porous concrete.
