Arbequina Olive Tree – Beautiful Live Plant – 6 Inch Pot – Grow Your Own Olives Indoors – Olea Europaea

Description

• Arbequinas are popular because of their flavor, but they also have a high concentration of healthy, antioxidant-rich oils. You can get up to 20 pounds of olives each year to enjoy in your salads and add to your favorite recipes
• They’re seldom bothered by pests and will grow organically, no matter where you live. Even better? Arbequinas grow indoors year-round. These trees are semi-deciduous, meaning they only drop their leaves in extreme cold and tolerate 20-degree weather. Grown indoors, they’ll keep their leaves throughout the winter
• Arbequinas are self-pollinating, so you only need one to produce fruit, though extra trees mean an even bigger bounty. And more is more when it comes to bushels of fruit and beauty.
• Bring a taste of the Mediterranean to your home. This variety is revered as both a table olive Ð for its mild, buttery and lightly fruity flavor Ð as well as an oil olive for its high oil concentration. Tasty fruit and gorgeous gray-green foliage will evoke the rolling Spanish landscapes where this variety is widely grown. Olives hang well on the tree and ripen at different intervals. Drought-tolerant and pest-resistant. Heat-tolerant. Ripens starting in November
• A self-fruiting olive prized for its dark brown fruit with highly aromatic oil content and attractive, silvery green foliage. Highly adaptable, it produces abundantly in hot dry climates, and has shown increased hardiness over other varieties, withstanding temperatures as low as 5 degrees. Makes a beautiful specimen shrub or small tree
