Description
The QS2 Range Hood is over 50-percent quieter than the average hood and delivers brilliant halogen lighting to your cook top. Three-position, soft-touch controls and a non-stick, DuPont Teflon coating on the bottom cover make it smooth and easy to clean. This hood’s quiet nature is due to its high-performance centrifugal blower. You’ll be able to carry on a conversation while cooking and you won’t miss out on the juicy details. The 300 CFM fan provides effective ventilation and you won’t have to turn up the volume to hear your favorite song while cooking. Use the quiet, Normal, setting for average cooking conditions and switch to Mid or High to quickly remove unwanted cooking aromas. Twin 50 W halogen light system (PAR20 Bulbs are not included) can be adjusted to three levels with the front soft-touch push buttons. They provide bright, soft or ambient illumination for impressive lighting over the cook top and surrounding area. Two dishwasher-safe, aluminum grease filters are engineered to remove airborne particles efficiently and clean up easily. Clean Sense charcoal filters (BPSF30, sold separately) have an indicator that changes color when replacement is necessary for an easy maintenance reminder (non-ducted installation only). Heat Sentry feature detects excessive heat and adjusts blower speed to high automatically. This smart feature protects and prolongs the life of your range hood. Easy installation with keyhole mounting slots, connector/back draft dampers and 4-ducting options provide simple flexibility. Non-ducted recirculation requires two Clean Sense charcoal filters, BPSF30 sold separately. Includes adjustable duct connectors to accommodate off-center ductwork and make installation a snap. Permanently lubricated fan motor is designed for years of trouble-free service. UL listed for safety and HVI certified to ensure confidence in performance ratings. Can be used to comply with California Title 24 and is ENERGY STAR Home V3 Qualified.
