Cambridge Audio SX-50 Bookshelf Speakers – Matte Black

Description

Impressively punchy performance Experience the crisp treble, surprisingly deep bass, and extraordinary soundstage that Cambridge Audio’s SX-50 speakers deliver. You’ll be amazed that these compact bookshelf speakers have the power to make your favorite concerts, movies, and sports come to life. They’re ideal for home theater or stereo setups in small-to-medium-sized rooms, or as hi-fi desktop computer speakers. Carefully engineered drivers for musical sound Unlike some compact speakers which can sound shrill or fatiguing, each SX-50 uses a 1′ silk soft dome tweeter for smooth, detailed highs. The tweeter’s foam damper helps reduce reflections and increase soundstage depth for a truly spacious, room-filling experience. The 5-1/4′ custom designed mid/woofer delivers accurate midrange and powerful, yet controlled bass with minimal distortion. The SX-50’s solidly braced MDF cabinets are computer-designed to help minimize standing waves and prevent unwanted resonance from coloring the sound. Heavy-duty, gold-plated binding posts make it easy to connect the high-quality speaker wire of your choice for top-notch performance.
