The King F9 Speedback hybrid achieves the ultimate combination of forgiveness and accuracy with Speedback and Baffler Technologies, delivering our longest and fastest hybrids ever. Speedback Technology features a low weight structure comprised of steel and tungsten that works in unison with optimised Baffler Rails to lower CG and improve turf interaction for faster ball speed, and increased launch from every lie. Innovative shaping improvements harmonise with Baffler and Speedback Technologies to achieve the ultimate combination of forgiveness and playability. A two-piece construction features a thin, forged 455 high-strength stainless steel face insert and a 17-4 stainless steel body. A thinner forged face increases flex and responsiveness for improved distance and ball speed on off-centre hits. Up to 30 grammes of additional weight comprised of steel and tungsten is concentrated low and deep in the clubhead resulting in a lower centre of gravity that creates higher launch with reduced spin. The Speedback structure encloses a 15 gramme tungsten weight that is positioned low and back to create high, towering trajectories and a steeper descent angle for improved stopping power into the greens. Redesigned to save discretionary weight needed to lower the club’s centre of gravity, while maintaining the same great turf interaction our Baffler rails have always provided.
