- PRACTICAL WALL BED: Dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to floor and wall for ease of assembly and maximum stability and durability. The Murphy bed with storage accommodates most standard Queen mattresses (8-12 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 60 x 80 inches, no futons) to let you choose the most comfortable option (mattress not included, do not use with box spring). The dual piston system allows you to fold the wall bed up and down smoothly and quickly.

The Murphy bed can be slept on every night and works perfectly in a small apartment or studio. The wall bed is easy to use; simply pull on the handles and flip the support leg down onto the floor. When planning your space, allow for a clearance of 30 to 36 inches around the open bed to make getting in and out of bed easier.

- INSTALLATION AND NOTES: To avoid risk of injury, bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, holes may be covered with baseboards 0.5 inches or thicker). All necessary hardware is included. Do not use this product for children or pets under 50 pounds (22.7 kg).

Whether it is in a small studio or multifunctional room, the Versatile Queen Wall Bed with one 25” Storage Unit lets you get the most out of your space. You can convert your office, training room, or even your living room into a guest room thanks to this space-saver. When planning your space, assign a clearance of 30”–36” around the open bed if possible in order to make getting in and out of bed easier (123.4” perpendicular to the anchoring wall and 129.4” parallel to the wall).
When the bed is folded up, it’s a large, beautiful cabinet. To fold out the bed, you simply pull on the handle, and flip the support leg down onto the floor. No heavy lifting or pulling is required thanks to the dual-piston system. The pistons are calibrated in order for the weight of the mattress to keep the bed open. For added convenience, you can even leave the bedding on the bed (but not the pillows). Its frame must be attached firmly to the wall since our murphy bed folds up vertically.

That is why we overdesigned the anchoring system of our wall beds. In this way, the screws can support a much greater force than that exerted by the weight of the moving sleeping surface and the cabinet remains firmly in place.
