I really like this design!
The top board can be easily lifted up, which is very convenient, and the basket space is large, which can store many things.

Good Way to Maximize Space in a Small Kitchen
These organizer storage baskets work well for many situations. You could use one or both — they are stackable. They will help you better utilize odd spaces. In my case, I fit both of them underneath a cabinet on top of a kitchen counter. This maximizes use of the vertical space. The nice-looking boards that go on top of each organizer do not work for my use, but they could be useful in other situations. I found the baskets easy to assemble. Everything you need comes in the box.

Stack Smart
Generous size that fits all my fruits, vegetables, and pantry items. The stackable design is great for saving counter space and keeping things organized. The bamboo top doubles as a cutting board—such a clever touch! Versatile for other spaces like the bathroom, pantry, or even laundry room.
