Now I wonder if we should have gone with another manufacturer because this unit is extremely noisy and we’re very disappointed. After the unit has been on for a few minutes, it starts to hum and rattle – sounds a bit like helicopter. It does this for a pretty long time and then it quiets down for a short time but then starts again. I just purchased this yesterday so tomorrow I will call the store tomorrow to see what can be done. Maybe we just bought a lemon and this can be replaced. If not and this is the normal noise level, we will have to consider another manufacturer because this is just too noisy to live with.
