About Energen Carolina
Charleston native Lance Blalock started Energen Carolina in 1976 not far from where our office is today. After graduating from Clemson University he started compounding chemicals in his own garage and quickly realized that this niche had great potential. Since our creation in 1976, Energen has grown from the ground, up, and we are committed to keeping that grass-roots momentum.
