Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What size trash bags should I use for the 13 Gallon model? Do I need special bags?
A: No special bags needed! Any standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bag fits perfectly. Our built-in trash bag retainer ring holds the bag securely in place and tucks the edges out of sight for a clean look.
Q: What are the power options? Does it come with an AC adapter?
A: You have flexible power options. It runs on 4 D-size batteries (not included), which last up to 2 years. For battery-free power, you can use the official iTouchless AC Power Adapter, which is sold separately on Amazon.
Q: Does this can actually control odors?
A: Yes, absolutely. The lid closes securely to trap odors, and it includes one replaceable AbsorbX Odor Filter which uses activated carbon technology to neutralize tough garbage smells, keeping your kitchen smelling fresh.
Q: Is the stainless steel difficult to keep clean?
A: The can is constructed with fingerprint-proof stainless steel that naturally resists grease, dirt, and smudges. This advanced finish ensures the can maintains its sleek, clean appearance and requires only minimal wiping to stay looking new.
Q: Will my dog or cat be able to open this trash can?
A: We designed it with pets in mind! This model includes a built-in Pet Lock feature. Simply slide the switch to temporarily disable the sensor, preventing curious pets and children from opening the lid.
