Meinl Byzance 20×22 Tradition Ride

Description

Their hand hammered and lathed surfaces with warm sounds and selection of models may be rooted in tradition, but MEINL Byzance cymbals are the ultimate choice when it comes to modern versatility. Every Byzance model is hand hammered into shape by cymbal artisans in Turkey, giving each cymbal its own unique and colorful voice. The overall presence that MEINL Byzance delivers is dark, buttery warmth that flows around crisp definition. The award winning Byzance Jazz cymbals have a traditional finish and contain outstanding sound qualities. They were developed for the natural vintage sound, requisite of traditional jazz and bebop. The Byzance 20″ Jazz Tradition Ride stems from the design characteristics of the MEINL jazz line but with a steeper profile and different lathing process to deliver unmatched stick definition and control with a beautiful blend of warm, slightly dry wash underneath. Whether playing a fast swing or a slow ballad with full stick strokes or taps, the definition and wash of this cymbal will follow and respond immediately to your level of intensity. MEINL Tradition Rides also have a very musical crash that blends well with the stick definition of the cymbal.
