5 people’s about the maximum number you can fit in a car, and if you have to stuff gear in there too? You might as well stay at home and watch reruns. Throw the Yakima SkyBox 12 Carbonite cargo box on the roof of your vehicle, though, and your road trip will seem like a first-glass luxury cruise. Yakima’s Carbonite material is 80% recycled and extra-lightweight, so you can carry more gear without weighing your car down, and it has internal lid stiffeners and an aerodynamic design for increased efficiency and less noise. The SkyBox opens on both sides and closes tightly with a SuperLatch secure closure system, and also has an integrated SKS Lock system to keep up to 5 people’s gear safe. Weight: 41.00 lbs. Dimensions: L 92.00in x W 24.00in x H 16.00in.
